This episode is all about seeking the vision that God has for you in 2025. We dive into the importance of trusting God’s timing, seeking His will, and surrendering to His plans, even when His ways differ from our expectations. As we continue our study of John, studying Jesus’ life in John 7, we explore how Jesus intentionally moved in secrecy, not for public approval but in obedience to God’s timing, inspiring us to consider areas where God may be calling us to move quietly or remain in the “secret place,’ but ultimately to be led by the Spirit in everything that we do.
Building on this, we reflect on the Israelites’ journey through the wilderness in Numbers 11 and Numbers 13. The Israelites complained about God’s provision of the boring, mundane manna, longing for the comforts of Egypt, and later doubted His promise despite the abundance they saw in the land of Canaan. This reveals the danger of grumbling against God’s provision and forfeiting His promises due to fear or misplaced focus.
Finally, Jeremiah 17:7-8 reminds us that blessings come to those who not only trust in God but whose trust is God. Trusting Him fully means surrendering our desires, plans, and expectations, allowing Him to prepare us in the wilderness for the future He has promised.
